Following the ministerial announcement on 23rd March, we have revised how we operate at Dave Mellor Cycles. Our Frankwell store is open, with reduced staffing and opening hours in order to minimise the risk to our staff and customers. From Monday 30th March, we will be open from 9am until 5pm, Monday to Friday and closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
We are following government guidelines to ensure staff and customer safety. We ask you visit the store for only for essential items. We would kindly ask you not to come in to browse during this time, or to try on any soft goods, as these are especially hard to sanitise following contact.
Our website and dispatch centre are fully operational and we are keeping to our same next day dispatch target for all online orders.

Yes, you can. Bicycle shops are considered an essential service and are therefore on the government's list of exclusions. However, if you don't need to travel, please avoid doing so. We will ship your bike to you for free during this time to reduce unnecessary journeys.

If you have any of the symptoms of coronavirus or share a household with someone who does, please do not travel to the store.
If you are a key worker and require a repair to keep you moving, we will do everything we can to assist, even collect and deliver it back to you. Please call the store on 01743 366662 to check availability before you visit.
Our free of charge check-over is not likely to be essential during the next three weeks. Please postpone booking this where possible.
Yes, you can. In the store we have gloves, hand wash facilities, and tissues. If you would like us to ship your order to you instead, please let us know.

We have increased our returns period from 30 to 45 days during this time to encourage staying at home, rather than visiting a Post Office unnecessarily.
We are keeping to our same next day dispatch promise and offer a variety of shipping services. We work with many carriers, all of whom are currently operating a normal service.
We have temporarily suspended bike fitting for the safety of our staff and customers. We hope to be able to offer this again after the 3 week period.
