Elvedes have made an adjustment to this bottom bracket with item number 2019117. The first version of 2019117 had a double row bearing on both sides. This double row model has relatively small balls and the bearing goes directly into the frame without any housing. This has some drawbacks, which have been solved with the new model. For the new version we have chosen a single row bearing with larger balls, combined with a plastic housing, making it easier for the bottom bracket to form in the event of intolerances in the bottom bracket shell.
Compared to the old model, this single row model will run more smoothly and has better sealing.
